We have reports from users telling us they stopped using the gag strap because it hurts their upper lip.

As I never had this problem myself, nor divers around me, we started to do some testing.

It appears that when your mask-strap is very tight, the bottom side of your mask pushes your upper lip on the rubber ridge of the drager safety mouthpiece, and this indeed does not feel good. I tested this myself and clearly this was not comfortable. As soon as I released the tightness of my mask strap, all was fine, and the fit was comfortable as before.
